Alternative Energy : What’s the way forward.

--> Alternative Energy : What’s the way forward.
Hi All,

This is something I am going to write today , rather than my normal figment of imagination stuff.

The objective : What’s are doing to the energy challenge to the economy :

Facts;
  • We will be in trouble in Carbon emissions are not controlled to acceptable limits.
  • There is growing friction between developing and developed economies
  • US will fall behind China when it comes Nuclear Power
  • Today US has 104 odd Nuclear reactors contributing 20% of total energy supply
  • This reactor's will expire by 2020 will be replaced by 6 such reactors , China will build 100 odd
  • Remember the replacement is only to sustain that 20% contribution
  • Countries like India are coal driven and will remain their for long-term unless cheap alternatives are there.
  • Green option like Solar, wind is highly capital intensive and are expensive to consume.
  • Consumers today can adopt green energy source if they are CHEAP both in developed and developing countries.
  • Changing energy consumption will make 2012/22/32/.... a reality if things are not in place
Solutions:
  • UN has to relook its pathetic energy policies for that’s the impact and influence centre for world
  • USA should divert military technology to develop green energy scope , best brains are there.
  • US will have to reform fast by stopping coal and gasoline driven economy
  • Countries both developed and developing should create a regional centric FUND that works exclusively for sustainable source of energy
  • Let there be a CHINA FUND, INDIA, US FUND solely investing in companies, universities, Private-public set ups to indentify.
  • Technology community should work how battery technologies can be improve.
  • My opinion if there is wills there is a way to make SOLAR and WIND energy source less cheaply for consumption.
  • Countries should open-up to share new technologies e.g. CHINA can teach how to make 104 Nuclear reactors in 10 years, US can tell about battery technology; India can contribute by Grass root innovations.
I don’t believe in myths but Carbon emissions are a challenge,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Mayans were there that’s a fact--- but there predictions need not be true.......

Lets work for energy efficient planet.
